| Julia Meadows is internationally re- cognized as a leading expert in the field of aromatherapy and essential oils. A pioneer and champion of ‘true aromatherapy' (the use of botanicals rather than synthetics) in America, Julia was educated in the science and art of phyto-aromatherapy in France and the UK. Since 1986, she has created aromatic ‘signature' blends and products for a wide range of clients including resorts, hotels, spas, dayspas, corporations, entrepreneurs, medical professionals and celebrities. As true aromatherapy becomes main- stream, the need becomes greater for accurate consumer information and education, as well as the availability of therapeutic personal care products. Julia founded Essence to fill this need. |
| Julia is president of two aromatherapy product manufacturing companies, Essential Aromatics and AromaxHealth. As principal of Essence Consultants, she offers her clients over 20 years of professional expertise in the creation, formulation, marketing and manufacture of therapeutic natural aromatherapy products (over 1,000 SKUs to date.) Julia's products and services have been featured in consumer and trade public- ations worldwide. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature and her Masters degree in Architecture from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Julia developed and taught courses in aromatherapy at the college level, and is the author of ‘Natural Bodycare: Creating Aroma- therapy Cosmetics for Health & Beauty.' |
